Overview:Reporting to the CEO and member of the executive team, The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for the overall development and maintenance of the financial and accounting functions of GRM.

The CFO will actively participate in major decisions to help guide the strategic direction of GRM. The CFO oversees development of the budget and provides strategic guidance for operations, expansion, and strategic growth initiatives.

He or she will help identify and develop opportunities to maximize revenue and properly manage expenditures. The CFO has oversight over all accounting functions, including the development of internal control systems and coordination of external audits.

He or she will be expected to recommend and successfully implement systems, processes and software that increase efficiency and accountability in all financial activities.

The CFO will have responsibility over AP/AR, GL, coordinating with financial partners, and all other functions that relate to fiscal management of the organization. Another primary responsibility is to work in cooperation with our Sales and Legal team to bring business agreements to fruition.

Our customers are sophisticated, large enterprises that typically sign long-term contracts for our services.

The CFO will be responsible for establishing the most advantageous deal structure, to accommodate SaaS business with the proper revenue recognition per GAP standards.

Specific responsibilities include:Evaluate, plan, develop, organize, implement, and direct GRM’s fiscal function and performance.Oversee the production of timely and accurate analyses of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist leadership in carrying out their specific functional responsibilities.Work in cooperation with GRM Sales and Legal to optimize structure of contracts on an ongoing basis.Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of GRM by way of systems and processes that will improve the overall operations and effectiveness of GRM.Continual improvement of the budgeting process, through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decisions affecting GRM such as merger and acquisitions, industry expansion, etc.Optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash thresholds to meet operating needs.Ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and procedures such as those that would impact a Software as a Service enterprise.Background & Experience:The CFO must be a strong leader who is able to work in a growing and continually evolving environment.

She or he must have graduated from an accredited college or university with a degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related field, or have at least 8 years of experience in a related field.

She or he must have at least 5 years of management/supervisory experience.

Professional certifications, including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is preferred.

A master’s degree in Accounting, Business, Law or a related field would also be desirable.
