Summary:We are hiring for a VP, Finance for our Medical Sector within Tekni-Plex.

In this strategic business role you will have the overall responsibility for the financial oversight of the sector, to include consolidated BU financial statements and consolidated BU budgets and forecasts.

This role will be responsible for strategic, financial leadership of the Medical Sector and oversight of the global P&L and working capital.

Develop strategic models/LRP in coordination with sector leader and the commercial team; collaborating on macro pricing strategies and market analysis.

You will provide a monthly/quarterly management reporting package that includes analysis of key business trends and actual versus plan variances, including comprehensive explanations of differences.

This role can be based out of Philadelphia, New Jersey or North Carolina. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Primary responsibility for all financial, analytical and strategic planning direction for the sector in conjunction with sector leadership teamEnsure timely close of the financial systems every month across the business unit in accordance with US GAAP/IFRS/GMP.Responsible for the financial review and oversight of P&L actuals, forecasts, metrics to measure key performance indicators and group performance.Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of, the monthly sales rolling 12 month forward forecast for each plant together with the monthly financial forecast update required each month by Tekni centrally in finance.Provide reporting of key financial actuals vs.

forecast, budget, prior year for the current month to senior Sector management (Sales, Costs, EBITDA, Open and shipped orders, etc.)Lead/coordinate the annual Medical Sector budget process globally for all operating entities/plant sites.Provide analysis and recommendations to management in the areas cost management, resource management, finance, revenue accounting, customer profitability and market segmentation, pricing, and contracts.Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to meet all corporate, and statutory, requirements,Support financial Information Technology initiatives and new system evaluations and implementations across the business unit.Coordinate on competitive analysis and guidance with the Commercial team.Create profitability accounting and cash flow analysis (business case modeling) for capital projects.Provide support for ad-hoc financial projects and analysis along with financial presentations as required to support corporate initiatives.Interface with customers and corporate treasury to resolve collection issues and terms.Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives including operational optimization initiatives, strategic partnerships, and acquisition strategy.Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure plant and division objectives are met.

Work with Corporate tax team to optimize tax position of the sector for the Group, including transfer pricing analysis.Support the Company’s risk management objectives by responding to annual insurance renewal data requests and period site visits by third-parties.Together with the Corporate Accounting Team, identify and resolve Company’s technical accounting issues; Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business with more than 15 years’ experience with a broad acute business acumen; CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred with strong GAAP (and IFRS) knowledgeExperience working in a manufacturing environment and hands on knowledge of manufacturing systems and link to financial reporting and performance interpretation a plusSolid management skills leading teams of 5 or more people with a track record of mentoring/growing team members with ability to lead and motivate others.

Financial planning & analysis skills in order to determine success, areas of need, and ability to communicate resultsAbility to build and drive an efficient, user-friendly process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectivesFollow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions correctedMust be able to travel globally to support all facilities within the Medical Sector across the US, Latin America, Europe, and ChinaThe ability to think on your feet and rapidly adjust to changing priorities is necessary. The ability to inspire confidence and trust are essential.
