Administrative Supervisor


This is a Contract position in Montvale, NJ posted November 27, 2019.

Under limited direction, this position is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the administrative and/or warehouse functions of a department or operating unit.
Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
Assures quality customer service to all customers.
Hires and trains, supervises and evaluates performance of assigned personnel. Identifies and effectively resolves personnel issues.
Supervises the general accounting functions that may include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, petty cash, and miscellaneous cash receipts.
Supervises the daily activities to include advanced administrative support, file systems, mail, department supplies, etc.
Prepares a variety of correspondence and statistical reports and distributes information, as requested.
Assists in preparation of the annual budget for the department.
Coordinates administrative and/or operations staff to complete special projects and/or other related duties, as assigned.
Coordinates procurement of all necessary supplies and equipment and monitors inventory levels.
Coordinates facilities and fleet management including repair and maintenance of property and vehicles and oversight of remodeling projects.
Oversees the maintenance of designated locations (e.g., grounds, property, physical assets, equipment repair and replacement).
Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.


Knowledge/ Education

Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent in experience and/or education required.

Licenses/ Certifications



Three years related experience required.


Good supervisory skills with the ability to effectively utilize and develop personnel to execute job tasks.

Proficient computer and data entry skills.

Must be highly organized and detail oriented, accurate and timely.

Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills.

Efficient written and oral communication skills.

Proficient in office filing system.
