Technical Support Representative

ACTEON North America

This is a Contract position in Mount Laurel Township, NJ posted December 25, 2019.

We strive to develop and manufacture high-tech medical devices that enable dentists and surgeons to implement minimally invasive, safer and quicker operating protocols that are less traumatic for their patients.

ACTEON employs highly trained technical and sales teams based in 26 different offices around the world and has a distribution network that covers our markets in 94 additional countries.

Job Overview: Providing customer delight in all areas of service with a focus on providing technical solutions for doctors and dealers requiring assistance.

Support tech support team when an issue needs to be elavated to a higher support level.

Responsibilities and Duties : Provide remote technical support for equipment installation and troubleshooting.

Installing and configuring software and drivers for digital cameras and various x-ray equipment.

Engage our France and Italy support team when needed.

User instruction and training on ACTEON hardware and software.

Documenting customer issues in case management system.

Assisting the in-house ACTEON IT staff with fixing internal issues, as needed.

Remotely assisting ACTEON sales staff with implementing ACTEON products and assisting with explaining technical issues to practitioners/end users in the field.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: The minimum education, training and/or experience required to perform this job.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent job experience Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: IT industry certifications preferred but not required.

Experience: At least two years’ work experience with IT or computer support including software installation and support.

PC and Software Applications: Windows/Apple OS X/macOS, TCP/IP networking, hardware integration Other Knowledge or Skills: Ability to read schematics and articulate to on-site technicians, ability to use a digital voltmeter, AC/DC theory, Salesforce or other CRM knowledge, problem solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Ability to troubleshoot computer hardware and software.

Excellent communication and people skills.
