Position Description: Well established private pay Home Health Care Agency for Seniors is looking for a full-time Registered Nurse for interviewing, hiring, and supervision of Certified home health aides, assessment of clients, as well as office administrative duties.

The salary has a range from $85,000 to $95,000 as well as health insurance, 401(k), and Dental/Vision coverage.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have home care experience willing to travel throughout Morris, Union, and Essex Counties -Must be proactive -Must be flexible -Must be organized -Major team player -Valid RN license from the State of New Jersey -Adequate professional liability insurance -Minimum of 1 year related nursing experience in home health or geriatric care -Five year employment history preferred -Ability to make home visits as well as work in an office environment -Must be willing to accept occasional on call work Job Type: Full-time Salary: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 /year Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform client assessments including: health status, functional ability, cognitive status, etc.

• Develop the client’s Care Plan.

• Review and/or revise the Care Plan as needed.

• Interview, screen, and supervise Certified Home Health Aides
• Maintain appropriate client and staff documentation records as per agency policy.

• Make home visits to assess client status.

• Provide training and education to staff in the home, via telephone and in the office.

• Collaborate with all Departments -Staffing, Sales, Human Resources
– to ensure compliance of state and accreditation regulations.

• Assume after hour on-call responsibilities, if needed
• Work in conjunction with the Administrator and administrative support staff to make sure operations in the agency run smoothly.

• Keep the Care Manager and Administrator aware of staffing and caregiver issues.
