The Associate Director, Solutions & Strategy, Core, Absence, Compensation & Benefits has responsibility for, identifying and assessing future technology solutions enabling the broader HCM Core, Absence, Compensation & Benefits strategy and streamlining optimizing existing operations.

This position works closely with the Compensation and Benefits CoE as well as supporting innovation within our Company’s core Human Capital Management systems & capabilities.

This role will focus on identifying, recommending & delivering alternative solutions, enhancing existing capabilities, and monitoring emerging tools and technologies in support of these functions.

This will include looking into upcoming releases of existing, cloud based systems, new innovations, robotic process automation, and BOT capabilities.

The individual is responsible for collaborating with peers and HR solution leads within the organization and is accountable for the implementation of agreed upon recommended solutions.

This individual must be able to influence across multiple levels of the organization, including the CoE Leaders as well as internal/external partners to drive change and tangible service improvements.Reporting to the Director of Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Compensation & Payroll HR solutions, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Participates in strategy/process design sessions to consult on solutions (both existing and new) that will best achieve desired strategic outcomes.

Authors or facilitates creation of functional requirements to effectively build and/or configure new solutions.

Builds team of required partners to pilot / implement new solution (e.g.

IT, System Vendor, Implementation Partner); Partner Management (if applicable).

Responsible for authoring the process design documents, uses cases/business scenarios for leveraging new capabilities Creates/updates required Data Privacy forms for all relevant objects requiring data; work with Data Privacy Office and data steward to obtain Local and Global Data Privacy and works council approvals.

Works with process/functional lead and test leads to define test strategy and test plan and executes user testing.

Collaborates with HR Operations Automation leads to help identify, quantify and enable identified automation opportunities Monitors the external environment for technology trends and emerging capabilities supporting human capital management capabilities Leads solutions as part of service transition projects, manages all work/deliverables per project plan, reports/escalates status, issues, and risks with mitigation plans weekly to project/program manager.

​ The Associate Director, Solutions & Strategy Core, Absence, Compensation, & Benefits operates in a highly complex and matrix environment and is expected to apply HR functional and operational expertise to drive performance.

The ideal candidate will be an accomplished HR/HRIS, IT team lead with experience working globally and established credibility in delivery and enabling strategies within a large and complex organization.

Required Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in an HR / HRIS / Operations function Ability to assessing and implement HRIS tools and systems, defining key processes and service level standards Knowledge / experience implementing and managing Human Capital Management Systems including capabilities supporting Absence, Compensation, and Benefits systems as well as experience with SaaS and other emerging technologies Experience working in a regulated environment Experience establishing service levels and analyzing operational workflow Familiarity with global privacy, legal and compliance requirements Strong business and financial acumen Experience with large, company-wide program implementation Ability to negotiate with and influence the opinions of others within the division and with clients & vendors Ability to create, manage, and implement technology strategy road maps, and develop business cases as required Ability to quickly define opportunities where HRIS initiatives can further the business strategy and drive execution of functional business plans through enabling technology solutions Knowledge of the external marketplace and emerging trends / technologies supporting Core HCM, Absence, Compensation, and Benefits Desired Skills and Experience: Experience in modern HRIS methodologies and systems (Workday Preferred) Ability to quickly assesses business needs to identify opportunities where HR/HRIS processes, programs and initiatives can further the business strategy A team-oriented style and a collaborative approach to getting work done.

Ability to be hands-on and entrenched in the details when necessary; ability to think strategically and big picture, while remaining involved in the day to day tasks.

Highly analytic with the ability to tackle deep dive analysis Experience with Agile methodologies and ability to adjust to a rapidly changing environment and make decisions with limited information Initiative, creativity, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills Experience with Chat Bot and Robotic Process Automation capabilities Ability to manage through ambiguity Our Support Functions deliver services and makes recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organization.
