Through live meetings, medical journals, and digital networks, we have a mission to improve patient care. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our editorial team as an Assistant Digital Editor.
The successful candidate will focus on assisting with the development and delivery of multimedia content for a digital healthcare brand.
Responsibilities:
· Write short news briefs and interview articles (approximately 5 per week)
· Edit audio and video content on a monthly basis
· Post weekly content to the website
· Create and schedule e-newsletters (approximately 5 per week)
· Regularly track and report monthly website and e-newsletter data analytics
· Manage daily social media accounts for the brand across platforms
· Organize incoming content and correspond with authors on an ongoing basis for content review and solicitation as neededRequired Skills and Experience:
· BA in English or Journalism (preferred)
· 1-2 years of professional or internship experience (preferably related to health care or publishing)
· Strong writing and editing skills (experience with medical/scientific content preferred)
· Comfortable with digital platforms and content posting
· Knowledge of HTML a plus
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office (required) and Excel (preferred)
· Experience editing multimedia content (preferred)
· Travel to 1-3 industry conferences per year within the United States
· Valid driver’s license
