New Jersey Resources is seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to provide analytical and operational support to the benefits and compensation functions.

Support the benefit and compensation programs to ensure competitive and equitable approaches so that the company attracts and retains talent.

Adept in benefit and compensation practices.

Ensure through audits and reporting that compensation and benefit programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Major Responsibilities:
• Support daily administration activities in both compensation and benefits
• Develop ROI analysis for various wellness and benefits programs
• Develop performance metrics and create informative dashboards
• Develop forecasting and reporting methodology for compensation and benefits planning purposes
• Analyze and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency
• Stay current with industry trends and changes in benefits and compensation
• Implement a data warehouse to collect, store and analyze information related to employee benefits and compensation
• Assist in the implementation and rollout on compensation and benefits initiatives
• Perform salary survey participation in compensation and benefits and report on outcome of results
• Maintain compensation and benefits budgets, including invoicing and reporting on accruals and forecasting

Requirements Position Specifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business HR, accounting, finance or related field
• One to three years of related experience and data analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and make recommendations
• Experience with joining multiple datasets and implementing HR tools and systems
• Strong reporting and presentation skills with the ability to interpret in-depth information
• High level of critical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• High level of confidentiality (ability to be trained and certified as HIPAA privacy compliant)
• Excellent planning and follow-up skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
