Compri Consulting’s client is seeking to hire a Network Administrator for a 12-month contract opportunity in Englewood, CO.

Overview: You will provide full-performance technical support and troubleshooting of networks and networked environments and lead the maintenance and monitoring of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Virtual Private Networks (VPN).

Additionally, you will ensure the perpetual integrity and security of all proprietary data, client information, and intellectual property.

Duties: Leads the performance of complex preventative, proactive and reactive maintenance in order to meet service restoration and network availability objectives, using network analysis and monitoring tools.

Leads and coordinates high level implementation planning for strategic multi-technology insertion projects, using established project management methodologies for the purpose of controlling costs and ensuring adherence to project plan.

Optimizes engineering to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO).

Provides full-performance technical support and troubleshooting of networks and networked environments, including on-call technical support.

Prepares and deploys complex implementation packages per Boeing standards.

Coordinates the installation with impacted customers and provides feedback to the design process based on implementation experience.

Leads the identification, analysis and documentation of requirements for both classified and unclassified network transport technologies and services (e.g., voice, video, data, wireless, cable, wire) based on customer goals, objectives, cost and security constraints, to provide input into the design process.

Leads and organizes the creation and documentation of designs that conform to architectural and security standards, to meet customer requirements, using industry best practices and tools.

Researches, develops, documents and deploys emerging technologies and techniques, determining proper integration into existing systems to meet customer needs, as directed.

Required Skills: 3 years of firewall experience (building policies, objects, and translations) Solid understanding of stateful firewall operation and trust models 3 years of S2S/L2L VPN tunneling and client SSL/VPN 3 years of Nexus and Catalyst route/switch platforms 3 years of L2/L3 protocol redundancies (RSTP/VPC & BGP/OSPF) Strong ability to learn new concepts and vendor platforms Proficient in troubleshooting/validating access layer connectivity within customer/production environments Ability to perform packet captures (wireshark, tcpdump, etc) Firm understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model (Plus+) Familiar with network load balancers (F5 / Netscaler) Technical degree in a related field of study and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
