Replenisher/Buyer

A Distribution Company located in Vernon, CT is searching for an experienced Inventory Replenishment Specialist who will be able to process Transfer Requisitions from system outputs and Management direction, creating Work Order Transfer documents for movement of inventory.Utilizing SXe (Infor) platform, analyze replenishment needs for 7 or more Branches, utilizing current and historical trends analysis to maximize sales, inventory turns and fill rates.Analyze replenishment historical trends to adjust system settings for MIN/MAX, Safety Stock, Lead Times, and Transfer Quantities.Track sales and transfer history for over 19,000 skus.Understand current trends and future plans, adjust inventory and transfer strategy with Branch Managers.Communicate with management, sales, transportation, and customer service on inventory issues, including shortages and over-stocks.Analyze inventory to increase or decrease projections based inventory levels and sales trends.Maintain proper safety stocks at the Branch LevelSupport Marketing efforts by assuring 100% stock availability for current Flyers and Promotional materials.SKILLSBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field required, or equivalent experienceComprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard order software platformsImpeccable attention to detailAbility to work well with a teamAble to thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment
