The VP E-Commerce will have complete P&L responsibility for a growing E-commerce business within the luxury resale space.

The single most important strength the candidate must possess is a deep knowledge of customer acquisition through digital marketing.

A deep knowledge of Google Ad Words and how to enhance our story through SEM and SEO is the number one characteristic we require.

Additionally, a business professional who understands P&L, forecasting, merchandising, planning, allocation, customer service, web best practices and a working knowledge of the technical side of the business. The VP E-Commerce will directly oversee a team that will run a fully integrated eCommerce business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and execute vision and strategy for eCommerce channel that encompasses product, marketing, and site designDevelop and execute a business strategy that optimizes traffic, conversion, and AOSDevelop a strategy for paid and natural search, electronic direct marketing, and affiliate marketing. Collaborate with merchandising and inventory to develop and execute the brand promotional strategyDirect team in the collaboration and development of merchandising and demand planning/sales forecasting as well as close collaboration with our retail stores.Lead and develop a team of direct reports, focused on three main areas, merchandising, marketing, and site management.Manage Business revenue and budget (P/L Responsibilities)Optimize the performance of the website and its ability to generate sales and related transactions.Ensure the day-to-day effectiveness of content display merchandising, navigation, search functionality and product presentation maximize customer experienceProvide on-going tracking and analysis of customer on-site behavior through market and competitive analysis and review and measurement of site analyticsIntegrate feedback from Customer Service and customer research into site functionality and product presentation requirementsFull responsibility for the WGACA photo studio including scheduling and making sure all e-comm photos are completed in a timely manner ready for upload.Desired Skills and ExperienceAt least 7-10 years of eCommerce experience, 3-5 years experience leading teamsDeep understanding of the digital B2C business with a mix of CRM, media, creative, technical and sales knowledgeExperience in financial modeling, market research, and value creationInnovative, has a disruptive mindset, constantly looks forwardEntrepreneurial, autonomous, open to collaborationCapable of working in a start-up growth-oriented environment without full guidance (finds her/his path and makes it happen)Capable of raising consensus at all levels: peers, executives, team membersPushes the organization to constantly improve, shows opportunities, stimulates out-of-the-box thinkingUnderstanding and knowledge of the luxury accessory space, designer resale apparel and the vintage market.

Bachelor’s Degree
