Senior HR Compliance Analyst

DSV Global Transport and Logistics

This is a Contract position in Clark, NJ posted December 12, 2019.

SUMMARY The Senior HR Specialist
– Compliance is responsible for the administration and monitoring of compliance reporting, practices and regulatory efforts for DSV in the United States.

This role will be responsible for analyzing and comparing data within multiple systems, across many States, perform various audits, and monitor and implement labor law and internal company compliance changes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES Collects, organizes, evaluates and analyzes employee data in preparation for annual compliance filings.

Files approved EEO-1 report with the EEOC within required timeframe.

Assists in responding to audits conducted by federal and state agencies, including preparation of responses and coordination with agency representatives and business entities.

Coordinates the distribution and posting of labor law information and other required communications such as: labor law posters, annual OSHA 300 log postings, Workers’ Compensation notices, etc.

Assists in the implementation of HR initiatives and compliance projects as assigned.

Provides insight and analysis on HR data by tracking key patterns and trends in metrics, including recommendations on improving reporting, communication, and action plans.

Proactively research and stay abreast of new compliance laws and regulations; recommending changes.

Work in conjunction with the HR Business partner on monitoring anti-harassment compliance trainings across the divisions.

Conduct annual compliance projects such as non-discrimination testing audits, 5500s, annual reports (SAR), etc.

Consistently supports compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, reporting non-compliance, ensuring company adherence to federal, state and local laws and regulations, and DSV’s policies and procedures.

Auditing and maintaining data quality in the HRIS; monitoring corrections.

Update Employee Handbook with local and Corporate policies and procedures as required.

Monitor DSV policies for compliance with current Federal and State laws.

Follow up on HRIS onboarding tasks with new hires.

Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS 5 years’ experience in a corporate Human Resources environment Hands-on experience in HR compliance administration with understanding and in-depth knowledge of regulations and laws Hands-on experience in reporting and audits Strong analytical skills and experience Exceptional project management skills and experience Advanced MS Excel skills Proficiency in MS Outlook and Microsoft Word required
