Senior Supply Chain Manager

This is a Full-time position in East Brunswick Township, NJ posted December 14, 2019.

Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Supply Chain Planning will work to ensure delivery and inventory support for forecasted and ongoing projects.

Candidates will have experience within the following processes: master production schedule process, inventory management, supply chain management, scenario analysis, sales and operations planning, ERP Planning Systems (preferably SAP) and other cross-functional business processes common to the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ability to be able to identify drive change in Supply Chain areas of process improvement
• Ability to be pro-active in understanding end to end supply chain activities and identify and resolve issues (capacity constraints, demand forecast reconciliations, etc.)
• Lead the drive for Lean/Operational Excellence
• Drive improvements in overall supply forecasting and continually optimize the inventories
• Manage the sales & operational planning (S&OP) process to meet business targets of service level, competitiveness, quality & sales objectives
• Proactive identification of issues that may impact supply, manage short and long-term planning activities/processes and day-to-day planning, retrieve, interpret and monitor demand and sales trends, calculate safety stock, manage inventory levels, resolve mismatches, collect monthly supplier performance metrics
• Ensure processes and systems are in place to support the new product launches
• Follow established S&OP planning processes and generate new processes when there is a gap
• Apply advanced knowledge and understanding of Planning (MRP, ERP), Inventory & Forecast Planning and demand planning.

Utilize ERP as the system of record for all supply chain processes as implemented
• Lead/ participate planning projects focused on continuous improvement, Good communication skills and stakeholder management
• Provide recommendations to Vice President, Strategic Supply Chain on improving processes and variances Position Requirements: Education: Required: B.A./B.S.

degree in Business.

Supply Chain or related field combined with a minimum of 5-10 years relevant experience Experience: Required:
• 5-10 years experienced supply planner in the generics pharmaceutical industry
• Supply Chain Finance experience – understanding Supply Chain impact on P&L
• Has planned before in an ERP environment – ability to quickly adapt and learn in an SAP environment
• Proven track record in cultivating a solid working relationship with various CMO’s / Partners and experience managing a team Specialized Training or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications Needed:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel with ability to create V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills Functional Knowledge:
• Can collaborate and create a positive environment
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ownership
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, be resourceful and driven Company / Industry Related Knowledge: Pharmaceutical knowledge is a plus Job Specific Competencies:
