Brand Manager

This is a Contract position in Roxbury Township, NJ posted December 17, 2019.

The Brand Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and the primary objective of the individual tasked to fulfil this position will be to execute the company’s marketing plan and growth strategy.

The Brand Manager shall conduct his/her activities in accordance with the company’s guidelines and principles.

He/She will be responsible for each of the following areas within the company’s KanJam business.

Responsibilities Brand Strategy Development Brand Positioning Go-To-Market Strategy Development Digital Marketing Packaging Consumer & Category Research Competitive Analysis Social Media Marketing Promotions Public Relations E-Commerce Brand Management New Product Development KanJam Sales Presentation Development Duties Devise and execute innovative growth strategies including traditional and digital executions Create awareness and trial in untapped markets.

Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities.

Manage packaging design & copy management.

Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities.

Work with E-Commerce team and drive brand initiatives (manage development of digital marketing efforts, content, videos, imagery, etc.).

Track, analyze and report on KPIs of all brand marketing programs to better understand performance, financial return and key learnings.

Manage social media presence for KanJam across all pertinent platforms.

Work with product team to develop new product and product extensions.

Oversee KanJam sales presentation representation.

Work with Marketing Director to manage and allocate budgets.

Key driver for public relations management & execution (where applicable) Champion the brand internally & externally.

Qualifications/Requirements The Brand Manager to be successful in his/her position, he/she must possess all of the qualities/skills listed below (unless listed as “preferred”).

Bachelor degree in Marketing 3-6 years brand marketing experience; consumer products preferred Digital marketing and social media experience Strong analytical and project management skills Creative thinking with an eye for design Excellent communication and decision-making skills Confident and dynamic personality Grass Roots Marketing experience a plus Misc.
