SUMMARY: Central NJ based construction equipment distributor seeks experienced Dealer Development Manager.
We are searching for candidates with a minimum 10 years of relatable experience, preferably in the heavy equipment/construction industry.
This position is ideal for qualified candidates which will be a key part in the company’s development strategy.
This position will focus on prospecting and setting up dealers as well as setting and attaining expansion goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the development of dealers within a specified territoryAct as a liaison for dealers and foster the education of dealers to communicate the vision of Komplet North America through participation in dealer meetings and training and educational sessions Cultivate new dealer relationships and sign new dealer locations with a focus on achieving expansion goals Have a good understanding and communication to management team of dealer performance and profitability metrics Assist with new dealer setup and development of new locations to improve sales and product offers SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: 10-20 years’ of relatable experience, preferably in the heavy equipment/construction industry Strong sales and business development experience Knowledge and understanding of dealer operations and business models Self-motivated, organized and a planner Excellent customer service and cold calling skills Strong presentation and relationship building skills
