Job SummaryDiamond Hills Collision Center Orange is looking for a Production Manager to join the Orange County team.

The Production Manager/Shop Foreman will be making decisions to improve the overall efficiency, profitability and reputation of our repair facility operations.

He/She will be responsible for planning, scheduling, performing, directing, and evaluating the repair and servicing of vehicles.

Listed below are the following responsibilities expected from Production manager.

The Production Manager is fully accountable for daily operation of the The Foreman is fully accountable for daily operation of the department and works to optimize customer value and profitability.

In addition, the foreman will be involved in the basic mechanic roles in times of need or down times.Responsibilities and DutiesSchedule and coordinate repairs by priority, assigning most qualified technicians to achieve highest quality repairPerform all service technician functions, including diagnosing and repairingAssist peers in developing diagnostic skillsRecruit, hire and motivate qualified service techniciansUnderstand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranties and policy procedures.Ensure that all department employees receive appropriate manufacturer trainingConduct regular performance reviews for all technicians in accordance with dealership guidelinesEnsure that all repairs are assigned to technicians in an equal and fair manner.Check progress of each repair order throughout the dayPerform detailed Quality Control checks on vehiclesCheck-in and order parts for vehiclesMaintain high-quality service repairsProcess parts invoices in management systemEstablish and maintain customer follow-up program to confirm satisfaction with the service experienceHandle all customer complaints within 24 hours, informing other managers as appropriateStrive for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departmentsQualifications and SkillsHigh School diploma or equivalentMust have at least 3 years’ experience in a collision centerICAR certified (Preferred)ASE certified (Preferred)Excellent communication, organization and leadership skillsMust have a clean record and valid driver’s license.Familiarity with CCC One and Rome Management System is a plus
